Vancouver House is a 34-unit dormitory and community center for college bound students attending the University of Hawaii. The building complex has three stories and basement parking for 26 cars. The building complies fully with all ADA requirements and utilizes a cabled hydraulic elevator. Situated in a residential area of Manoa, the design contextually blends into the neighborhood. The design utilizes many sustainable architectural features such as energy conservation with the use of natural ventilation of units and the use of recycled exterior sidings.
